2017/2018 Capital City Rec Hockey League Season Recap

This was my tenth consecutive season of organized hockey, fifth with the Rangers. We finished first place in division 15/16. I played in 21/28 Games and had 12 Goals & 12 Assists for 24 points and that was tied with Greg P and Rob H for the team lead. I played in 9/10 play off games and had 4 Goals & 2 Assists for 6 points. We won the first two rounds on the best of three series and in the finals we got to game five and lost by one goal. It was a really amazing season for us.

Mon 23rd, (Game #9)
@ 9:00pm, Terwillegar arena Rangers vs. Spartan Army (L 3-2) We may have lost the championship however we tried hard and had fun. Boxscore

Sat 21st, (Game #8) 1 Goal
@ 3:15pm, Terwillegar arena Rangers vs. Spartan Army (W 2-1) We battled extremely hard today, I got the winner. Winner gets the championship. Boxscore

Wed 18th, (Game #7)
@ 8:15pm, Terwillegar arena Rangers vs. Spartan Army (W 5-4) Down 2-0 we battled back to force O.T and then win in a shoot out. Boxscore

Mon 16th, (Game #6)
@ 10:30pm, Millwoods Rec Centre arena Rangers vs. Spartan Army (L 4-0) We had no answer for their division 7 players & division one player. Boxscore

Fri 13th, (Game #5)
@ 6:30pm, Clare Drake arena Rangers vs. Spartan Army (L 6-3) They out muscled us tonight. We took too many penalties. Boxscore

Mon 9th, (Game #4) 1 Goal
@ 6:45pm, Millwoods Rec Centre arena Rangers vs. Revolution (W 5-3) We jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and they battled back. Boxscore

Wed 4th, (Game #3) 2 Assists
@ 6:45pm, Meadows arena Rangers vs. Figjam (W 5-3) Both teams left everything on the ice, we move on to the semi final. Boxscore
