2025/2026 River Cree Hockey League Season Recap

This was my 17th season playing in a men’s ice hockey league and my 12th with the Edmonton Rangers. We finished third place out of seven teams in division 24/27.  

I played in 5/28 games and had 0 Goals & 2 Assists for 2 points 

 

I had a fun time playing with our team because we have a good team and my best friends are on the team. I didn’t play any games after December. I hurt my back and was not able to play. The late games affected my sleep.

* In total for my career I have played 17 seasons of ice hockey in mens league and I have played 356 regular season games with 151 Goals & 167 Assists for 318 points. I have played 25 play off games with 10 Goals & 13 Assists for 23 points. I have played in one tournament and played 5 games with 5 Goals & 4 Assists for 9 points.

December 2025/2026 River Cree Hockey League

Sat 13th, (Game #5)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Twine Ticklers 

(L 6-2) We were close for the first two periods and then they pulled away in the third period.

October 2025/2026 River Cree Hockey League

Sat 18th, (Game #4)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. CHC 

(L 3-0) We played really hard and had some good scoring chances however we just couldn’t get one by their goalie. 

September 2025/2026 River Cree Hockey League

Wed 17th, (Game #3)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Canadian Moose 

(L 4-3) There was a couple of times that they hemmed us in our zone for extended stretches. They scored with one minute left in the game. 

Wed 10th, (Game #2) 1 Assist

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. CHC 

(L SO 5-4) We out played them in the first two periods. The difference was their goalie. 

Thu 4th, (Game #1) 1 Assist

(W 5-1) Our hard for checking made them turn over the puck allowing us to keep possession in their zone. 

2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League Season Recap

This was my 16th season playing in a men’s ice hockey league and my 11th with the Edmonton Rangers. We finished fourth out of eight teams in division 26/27. We lost both games in the final round best of three playoff series. 

I played in 15/30 games and had 4 Goals & 7 Assists for 11 points & 1 playoff game with

2 Assists.

 

I had a fun time playing with our team because we have a good team and my best friends are on the team. I was having a hard time getting to the late games from Christmas and on because it was affecting my sleep. 

* In total for my career I have played 16 seasons of ice hockey in mens league and I have played 351 regular season games with 151 Goals & 165 Assists for 316 points. I have played 25 play off games with 10 Goals & 13 Assists for 23 points. I have played in one tournament and played 5 games with 5 Goals & 4 Assists for 9 points.

April 2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League Playoffs

Sat 12th, (Game #1) 2 Assists

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Renegades

(W 12-3) We out played them in all areas of the game. We took control of the game. Our team played really good. 

March 2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League

Sat 22nd, (Game #15)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Rangers 

(L 4-1) They were a really good team. We took six penalties and killed off five of them. Our goalie kept us in the game. 

January 2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League

Sat 11th, (Game #14)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Shake & Bake 

(L 6-0) We got out played and shot. We did get four break aways however their goalie was good. 

December 2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League

Sat 21st, (Game #13) 1 Goal

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Braves 

(W 6-4) We jumped out to an early 3-0 first period lead. Their team had a short bench came back to tie it up. We got timely goals. 

Sat 7th, (Game #12)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Green Diesel Hockey 

(W 4-0) We out played them and had lots of good scoring chances. Our goalie was excellent.

November 2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League

Sat 30th, (Game #11) 1 Assist

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Rangers JC 

(L 6-2) The game was fairly even however it seemed like they capitalized on their chances better than us.

Sat 23rd, (Game #10) 1 Goal & 1 Assist

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Silverbacks 

(L 8-7 O.T) This was a fun game to play in because it went back and forth. I missed my shot in the shootout. 

Sat 16th, (Game #9)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Shake & Bake 

(L 9-6) The game was pretty evenly matched. It was a fun game to play.

Mon 4th, (Game #8) 1 Goal

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Renegades

(L 4-3) We were trailing 3-0 at one point and then I scored to tie it late in the third period only to have them score a goal shortly after that. I felt like our team out played them and their goalie was the difference.

October 2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League

Mon 21st, (Game #7)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Spartans 

(L 6-4) We out shot them and had them hemmed in their zone for long stretches. In the third period a Malay in sued with punches thrown and players getting pushed to the ice. The Referee’s had to run the clock for half of the period to sort out the penalties and game misconducts. 

Tue 15th, (Game #6) 1 Assist

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Slump Busters 

(L 5-2) They were a good team and moved the puck up well. Their goalie stopped all three of our break aways.

September 2024/2025 River Cree Hockey League

Thu 26th, (Game #5) 1 Assist

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. CHC 

(L 7-2) We had a good start and then they took it to us and out shot us by a wide margin. 

Sun 22nd, (Game #4) 2 Assists

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Grizzlies 

(W 7-3) Our goalie made some great saves. Our defensemen blocked so many shots.

Sun 15th, (Game #3)

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Mustangs Red 

(W 4-3 SO) They had more shots than us. Our goalie played a great game. We made good on our scoring chances. We also had five break aways and their goalie stopped three of them.

Tue 10th, (Game #2) 1 Assist

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Braves 

(W 4-1) They out shot us in the first period. We got more chances in the second and third periods. Our goalie was outstanding.

Tue 3rd, (Game #1) 1 Assist

@ River Cree arena, Rangers vs. Rusty Blades 

(W 5-3) The game was fairly even as both teams put on pressure at certain times. Our goalie was square to the puck all night. They mounted a come back and we held on with an empty net goal.
