Saturday June 11th. This was my first race this season on the Alberta Cup series. I finished 22nd place out of 28 in Novice Men
http://www.albertabicycle.ab.ca/results. It was two laps and 14 km's and a total time of 1hr 19mins. The conditions were very difficult as it was raining and the course was hard to ride. I am very happy with this result as it was not ideal conditions, I finished the race, I had alot of fun and now I can build off of this race for the rest of the season. I am also happy how my right knee felt, I had some minor pain and that is all. I crashed two times and I am very glad I was on flats. My legs felt good, It was my lungs that could not keep up as I am not up to racing shape.
The race was held @ the Canmore Nordic Centre put on by
http://www.spinsisters.ca/ and it was a great time, they even had hamburgers for the racers and volunteers.
I had gone out to
http://www.sundancelodges.com/loc.html in Kananaskis on Friday June 10th and was camping there until Sunday June 12th. It rained all weekend.
